General interface in RCS application

The RCS application is divided into several sections. For better understanding, let's name and explain them. 

• Top Ribbon
• Navigator
• Main - graphic window, input tab 
• Data - input tab, result tab
• Info - simple summary of project data, current section, current extreme, and code check

Top Ribbon

The Top Ribbon is a graphical control element in the form of toolbars divided into several tabs. The composition of the Top Ribbon differs for each row in the main Navigator. In other words, various toolbar sets are provided for specific modeling steps.

The settings tab always displays. Here you can find all the important settings such as Units and Code or basic Project data. The rest of the tabs vary according to the specific step as different options are available when, for example, creating the cross-section or checking the results. 

Navigator

In the Navigator, you will find the Current Section & Extreme and Project Summary tabs. Under these tabs, you will find the steps to follow when creating and editing the model. 

In the Navigator, you can also add more sections or extremes using the blue plus button and switch between them.

Main

There are two functions for the Main section.

First, you can review the inputs in the graphical form and see all the changes you have set up in the project. 

And secondly, for specific steps from the Navigator (Design Member, Internal Forces, Calculation Control, Sections, Design Members, Reinforced Cross-Sections, Materials), the Main section serves as the place for data and setting input.  

Data

The layout of the Data section varies according to the specific step from the Navigator. 

For Cross-section, Prestressing, Reinforcement, and Sections, you can use the Data window for the input and review the detailed data and notes. For Results, the window serves to display all the detailed results, including calculation nonconformities.
