What is coming in IDEA StatiCa 9.1 for Concrete
We are proud to present improvements in IDEA StatiCa version 9.1. We did our best to choose the most impactful improvements from the huge amount of feedback and requests we received from you.
For years, we have been researching new ways how to reinforce and code-check concrete details of all topologies and loading. In 2016, we partnered up with one of the top technical university worldwide – ETH Zurich – to create IDEA StatiCa Detail. This release brings the next version of this revolutionary tool and materializes our work on a unique solver, material models, GUI, and output report.
Version 9.1 allows to design and code-check not only beam and wall details but also frame joints. A new presentation of results was implemented for all the topologies. There is a new type of anchoring – perfect bond. IDEA StatiCa Detail can now provide full code-check not just for Eurocode but also for ACI. Together with ETH, we are releasing several verification studies on safety and reliability of IDEA StatiCa Detail. To explain assumptions and methods used in IDEA StatiCa Detail, we have created a document called Theoretical Background which allows engineers to get full understanding of this new approach to design concrete details.
