Concrete webinar – February 12, 2020
Fire resistance check of concrete structures
Fire resistance of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures is one of the important parameters that an engineer has to check when designing a building structure. From the last version of IDEA StatiCa, structural engineers are able to check concrete structures for fire resistance. The checks are according to Eurocode, based on the tabulated data method. All common structural member types are supported, such as beams, columns, slabs, and walls.
On Wednesday, we run two same sessions: the first at 11:00 CET (Amsterdam time), followed by another one at 12:00 EST (New York time). Register below and join the session that fits your day.
- How to input the correct load effects during fire
- The basics of tabulated data method according to Eurocode
- Special settings for columns, beams, slabs, and walls
- Practical examples in concrete applications
