Steel webinar – December 4, 2019

Connection Wednesdays – How to connect FEA and CAD model

Join our regular Connection Wednesday webinar and find out how to enhance the workflow in your company – especially between designers and structural engineers.

In the first part of the webinar, we are going to show the cooperation workflow of structural engineers and designers. Our example shows an easy and efficient way to connect an FEA analytical model and a CAD structural model into the one file. Such a joint can be easily checked and optimized in IDEA StatiCa Connection by a structural engineer and with the advantage of new web-based plug-in for Advance Steel shared with the designer.

In addition, we will go through one “HelpDesk highlight” – current vibrant topic from our support desk. This time something about local deformation check + GMNA.

On Wednesdays, we run two same sessions: the first at 11:00 CET (Prague time, UTC+1), followed by another one at 12:00 PM EST (New York time, UTC-5). Register below and join the session that fits your day.

Join the webinar series and learn about:
  • BIM workflows with CAE+CAD programs for structural engineers and designers
  • IDEA StatiCa Viewer for Autodesk Advance Steel plugin
  • Local deformation check of hollow cross-sections
  • Geometrically and materially non-linear analysis
