The approach for the AISC code requires both an initial eccentricity and a reduction in E and G with a reduced limit for Fy. With the right approach IDEA StatiCa Member CAN satisfy these code requirements.
Youngs Modulus and the Shear Modulus are factored by 0.8 with Fy factored by 0.9.

This revised material should be used throughout the project - including any steel parts such as plates - remember it is very easy to modify the steel grade of any member or plate.
