Product Development Engineer - Steel
What will you do?
- Participate in defining tasks for fellow developers, preparing technical specifications, and assisting them in delivering the required functionality in the shortest possible time.
- Review and test developed functionalities to ensure the delivery of error-free features to customers. Develop and maintain automated testing systems.
- Manage and enhance the set of verification and validation documents for our software, collaborating with partner universities on their creation.
- Write product documentation, including theoretical manuals, technical articles, release notes, etc.
- Analyze user behavior and the success of developed functionalities.
- Assist the sales and support teams in resolving complex user inquiries.
- Represent the company at professional conferences in CZ/SVK and abroad.
- Gather requirements from all stakeholders (customers, distributors, partners, colleagues) and propose further development of IDEA StatiCa applications and services.
Role requirements
- University degree in Structural Engineering
- Experience in designing steel structures
- Familiarity with software commonly used by civil engineers
- Ability to work as a member of an agile team—communicate, organize, prioritize, assign, and review developed functionalities
- Passion for understanding the work of structural engineers worldwide and the ability to see the world from their perspective
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
