IDEA StatiCa works with your Robot Structural Analysis. You can select any concrete member or a part of the whole Robot Structural Analysis model and export it to IDEA StatiCa for structural design. All the members, cross-sections, and internal forces are not just exported, but they are also synchronized if the Robot Structural Analysis model changes. IDEA StatiCa and Robot Structural Analysis give you an efficient workflow for your structural concrete design that saves time, minimizes errors, and opens up optimization possibilities.
Robot Structural Analysis to IDEA StatiCa workflow
You do not need anything special to get started - just download and install both applications on the same PC, and activate the BIM link in a few easy steps. And you can start exporting and designing concrete members right away. All exports are managed by IDEA StatiCa Checkbot, where you can select any member and open it in detail.
Export, design, synchronize, generate a report
Ready to solve various concrete members? Robot Structural Analysis combined with IDEA StatiCa will allow you to model, design, load, and check all concrete members and cross-sections.

Version 21.1 and newer (October 2021 onwards) - BIM link is managed by Checkbot - an application for the management of BIM workflows. This means:
- Export and synchronize members easily
- Complete control over all of your imported members
- A clear list of all imported items including status checked/not-checked
- 3D visualization of imported members
- Conversion table for materials and cross-sections
- Load combinations management

Need also to design concrete discontinuities?
IDEA StatiCa Concrete and Prestressing also contains a unique application IDEA StatiCa Detail for the structural design of D-regions in concrete structures like wall and beam openings, diaphragms, frame joints, hangings, and brackets. IDEA StatiCa Detail is currently not linked to the Checkbot so the design has to be made from scratch. But IDEA StatiCa Detail offers a wide variety of templates and also a possibility to import reinforcement from a DXF file - here is an example of a structural design of a dapped end with an opening.
