Students and teachers can apply for a free 12-month educational license of IDEA StatiCa. It is intended for learning, coursework, and thesis projects. Applicants must verify their student or teacher status (e.g., with a valid student ID such as an ISIC card). 

This license is strictly non-commercial, includes watermarks and limited reporting, and projects are not compatible with commercial licenses.

Discounted academic professional licenses

For academic professionals, IDEA StatiCa offers discounted commercial licenses for research activities and commercial projects. These licenses are suitable for both academic work and real-world engineering application. 

They may be provided with or without watermarks and other limitations, depending on the agreement. Academic customers receive full technical support and software updates provided through IDEA StatiCa and delivered by their local reseller.
