IDEA StatiCa

IDEA StatiCa
This session explores practical methods to simplify steel connection design workflows using IDEA StatiCa Checkbot, which is an innovative tool that integrates with major FEA software - including SCIA Engineer, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RFEM (full list) - to design the connections from the entire structure. We will demonstrate how to handle large datasets, automate repetitive tasks, and effectively communicate the final design to detailers.
Why Attend?
The inspiration for this session stems from the challenges structural engineers face in managing vast amounts of data. Even for a simple steel structure, adhering to design codes can generate hundreds of load combinations to analyze. This data overload can be overwhelming, often limiting the time available for the creative and analytical aspects of engineering.
In this webinar, we will demonstrate how to:
- reduce your workload through effective grouping
- simplify analysis and reporting with bulk workflows
- apply alternative workflows for specific scenarios
Our aim is to support you in managing your data more efficiently, so you can focus on advancing your engineering skills - whether that involves delving deeper into your designs, optimizing them, or accomplishing more in less time.
Note: We'll work with a pre-imported model and focus on post-import workflows. For guidance on importing data from FEA or CAD tools, please refer to tutorials in our Support Center.
