Tubular clamped connection
An example of a tubular clamping connection of tubes. The model is built using stiffening plates, contacts, bolts, and welds. The Forces between the structural members are transferred by contacts between the clamp and the vertical tube. The model is analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Connection app.
