IDEA StatiCa Showcase 2024: Design & Detail Day

On June 4, 5 and 6, 2024, we welcome you to our exclusive events in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The IDEA StatiCa Showcases offer an in-depth exploration of innovative developments in our software and practical applications that set the standard in the construction industry.

The day is divided into two exciting parts: the morning is devoted to Steel, while in the afternoon we shift the focus to Concrete.

In the Steel section, we will dive into exciting topics such as AI and machine learning, parametric design with the Grasshopper API link, and showcase some real-world examples, including an in-depth analysis of a bridge detail and an enlightening discussion on circular connections.

For Concrete, we reveal advanced techniques for anchors in concrete, the application of hollow-core slabs, and explore practical case studies including a wall calculated with 3D finite elements.

You are free to choose whether to attend only the morning (Steel), the afternoon (Concrete), or both parts of the day, but we strongly recommend attending the entire day to not miss anything.

We have scheduled ample breaks and networking opportunities to ensure that you have the chance to network and make new contacts.

Participation in our Showcase is completely free, but places are limited. So don't wait too long to register to avoid disappointment.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Czech embassies of the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, as well as the CzechTrade Agency.

The event will be supported by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, His Excellency René Miko, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium, His Excellency Jakub Skalník, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, His Excellency Vladimir Bärtl. They will also deliver an opening speech.

However, these are not the only interesting guests who will be present at the event. Our colleagues from HQ IDEA StatiCa, including Martin Jansa, Chief Technical Officer, Lukas Bobek, Concrete Product Owner, and fellow developer Tomas Kohoutek, will also be in attendance. We would like to highlight IDEA StatiCa's Czech origins, while also celebrating that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the innovative application, Steel Connections.

Please note that a no-show fee of 50 euros is applicable. At all locations, the slides will be in English, but the presentation itself will be in Dutch in The Hague and Mechelen, and in English in Luxembourg.
