Anchor reinforcement for tension concrete breakout
The following example shows a base plate with high-tension and moment forces. The concrete breakout in tension fails for the anchors.
The model is exported to the Detail application. The zip file contains two models:
- Connection file: Base plate design in the Connection application, where the anchors fail for concrete breakout in tension.
- Detail file: Pedestal reinforced design, the first model includes the minimum reinforcement required. The second detail in the file includes tension hairpin reinforcement for the anchors.
