Hospital de El Salvador, Chile

The new Hospital de El Salvador is under construction in Santiago de Chile. It is big building up to 130,000m2 executed in concrete but with an enormous steel structure supporting the pipes and equipment in each floor and specially above the roof. This steel structure has been modeled and calculated employing ETABS taking into account that it shall withstand important seismic events, and to minimize these effects all the construction is erected above isolation rubbers.
