Geometrical eccentricity

Limitation: Geometrical eccentricity - joint node is not in the central point

Workaround: Import the joint and move the beams manually to the proper positions. Imported internal forces include the eccentricity effects, only the geometrical offset is missing.

Load combinations

Limitation: Load combinations that reference other load combinations cannot be imported. These combinations are automatically skipped during import.

Workaround: Create new load combinations in STAAD.Pro that contain only basic load cases, or modify the existing ones to follow the same rule.

Limitation: SRSS and ABS load combination types are not supported. These special combination methods require non-algebraic mathematical processing.
Because Checkbot performs a strict algebraic summation of load cases (including sign), SRSS and ABS combinations are excluded from import.

Workaround: Replace existing SRSS and ABS combinations, or create new ones, with standard algebraic combinations that use only basic load cases. These simplified combinations will import correctly.
