Tube with connecting plates
Tubular bracings connected to hollow cross-section vertical member using welded cap plates with connecting plates bolted to horizontal, or vertical gusset plates. Gusset plates are welded around their surface to the column. The joint was modeled in the IDEA StatiCa Connection application.
