Packing plate to merge different sizes of members
Packing or filler plate fills gaps or provides additional support between steel elements. It ensures proper load transfer and structural integrity.
Splice Connection can be tricky if the different height of beams has to be connected. How to insert a packing plate? This cannot be done in one manufacturing operation but it’s achievable by using a general plate.
