Moment connection with diagonal stiffeners
Steel rolled inclined I-section beams welded to column flanges. To increase the stiffness of the connection, diagonal stiffeners with chamfered corners were welded to the column's web from both sides. This moment connection was analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Connection application.
