A joint team of IDEA StatiCa and Hilti had an interesting presentation during the Autodesk University in Las Vegas earlier this year. In case you missed this event, we have good news for you. All the content is available online now.

As we have already told you before, Hilti’s PROFIS Engineering software is powered by our unique CBFEM (Component-based Finite Element Method) solver.

On Autodesk University, a joint team of Mario Fitz (Global Product Line Manager Structural Engineering Software at Hilti), David Kucera (Product Engineer at IDEA StatiCa), and Anthony Ambrosio-Meir (Designer at Degenkolb - customer using the software) presented the full solution for problems and productivity challenges structural engineers are facing when designing steel to concrete (S2C) connections.

Hilti and IDEA StatiCa demonstrated on a real case how to overcome these challenges in the future and discussed where they stand in this exciting journey. There were two problems defined and solved in the presentation. The first one consists of methods and tools for design, the other one is related to workflow integration.

So, if you are a structural engineer and you would like to unleash your productivity and safety potential, you surely should not miss this presentation.

Find the presentation overview and further resources for this session on the Autodesk University website.
