Circular end-plate with stiffeners
An example of atypical moment connection with circular hollow section beam connected to the column flange by bolted circular end-plate. The cross-section of the beam close to the column is strengthened by two circular stiffeners. The model is designed and analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Connection app.
